Historic Suites Downtown Macon - Unit 2

Fantastic weekend getaway perfect suite! Positive: I absolutely loved the suite! So clean and like home! We could chill unwind and enjoy! Very roomy. Was able to wash clothes which i love . Coffee to atart our morning, comfy bed . Very well stocked ! Very much recommend this for a great stay . The front porch swing was so incredibly inviting, then you enter the perfect living room into kitchen and large bedroom. Just perfect

Cute spot in Macon! Positive: Such a sweet place to stay! The little touches like the coffee bar, laundry pods, even toothbrushes with toothpaste! The apartment was super clean and in a quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay again if I was ever back in the area!

IT WAS A STRESSFUL EXPERIENCE....I FEARED THE SAFETY OF MY FUR BABY. Positive: At the last minute, I had to travel with my fur baby. So, I located this property under "Pet Friendly" locations. It was the closes to the convention center. The drive was approximately 10 minutes, which enabled me to go walk my girl and play with her between sessions. So, I booked Unit 2 and paid everything that was asked of me. Negative: The owners FALSELY accused me of "sneaking a dog onto the property and NOT paying pet fees!" I told them their property was listed as a "Pet Friendly" location and the reservation site never asked (How many pets), but there was an additional cleaning fee as a part of the reservation. The additional fee had to be paid in order to rent the room. So, I did all of that! Later that day, I received a message from Luke, in which he apologized for the miscommunication because he checked the Booking App and confirmed what I shared with him was the truth! No questions were asked about your pets! The next day, the other owner sent a message informing me that "Their insurance agent needed to enter my room for a few minutes!" My heart skipped a few beats and I felt violated that some guy was planning to enter my space without any discussion!!! My personal things were left out and my fur baby didn't know these people! I HAD QUESTIONS: 1) If there's a problem with your property, why rent-it-out? 2) Why enter my room in my absence and frighten my dog or let her runaway? 3) Why not wait until AFTER your tenant checks out to handle your insurance issues? My take-away from this trip is: CONVENIENCE DOESN'T MAKE IT BETTER! IT WAS A STRESSFUL EXPERIENCE!

Very good location for us as our granddaughter was in Children's Hospital for major surgery. Walked! Positive: Apartment was decorated wonderfully and had all that you needed to have a great stay. Negative: Front room needs some privacy blinds or curtains.

Great value for spacious, well-appointed accommodations. Positive: Very spacious and well-appointed. Host was extremely responsive. Excellent instructions for parking and entry. Lovely front porch on our unit. Negative: The front room where the sofa bed is located is quite bright after dark due to large street light. Easily solved with eye mask that was provided.
